Ah!!!
The Honor guard.
I know much of the beginning and creation of your great guild and the many struggles that have been faced by it's members. In seeing this great gathering of such fine adventures triumph thus far sets my heart a glow. I am delighted to see so many names that I recognize after being absent from Azeroth for so long. Much has been sacrificed and much has been gained. I ask is there anyone maintaining any record of the efforts given and labors lost! I wonder if there are any who can refresh my tired mind of some of the tales I should know to well? The tales of times long since past? The tales of old Exemplars, Seekers, Walkers and Elders? Perhaps even tales of The Brotherhood? I invoke the, Honor Guard to strain your memories so not to forget those that could not stay with you thus far! I invoke you all to share with me now what you can to HONOR those who had there part in all this, but no longer shift the direction of the winds in the sails of destiny that guide this magnificent guild! Though the winds blow stronger as of late there would be nothing if not for those who built the ship and mustered the first breeze...

A strange traveler indeed. How is it that you know of our storied past and brave heroes that have fallen? I trust the tone of your voice (it sounds eerily familiar) and I will dig deep into my tiny brain to unearth what you seek. The guild has been led by Thairos, our brave and righteous Paladin, since the founder of our guild, Finn, was called to a higher duty in untold lands. The guild has been steered on a course as true as the north winds of Winterspring by our steadfast officers; Belber the mighty mage tank; Tado, our shifty and witty rogue; Taarliss, the wicked and deadly warlock; Ayric, the battle hardened and rock solid Paladin; Mirana, the lady warrior that sure doesn't hit like a girl; Thorradin, our ale drinking dwarf warrior that has a longer beard than most (if you take my meaning); and myself, the warrior with the biggest shield. We have pushed though the evil lairs of the Plaguelands and the dungeons of Black Rock Spire with courage time and time again. We have set out sights on the deepest and most dangerous of places in all of Azeroth now and have reorganized the guild to give Thairos the authority needed to make the quick decisions and changes as he sees fit (with the guidance of the officers). Now, I have given you a taste of what you seek...mayhaps you will give me a hint of your identity?

The old brothers and sisters ... how I miss the guidance and mentor ship they gave me, the good times and good ale shared. Tharkulf, a brother from the Brotherhood is still with us today, though his duties do keep him very busy now days. Our leaders of past, Lord Finn, Elder Lughmacgowan, and Seeker Grumir; they are from the old days, and they shed both blood and sweat to lay the foundation for our great guild. The mighty warrior Anolin, who parted ways with the Honor Guard, but who surely keeps a watchful eye on those he calls brothers. Brother Zick, who antics could break a smile in even the most dire of circumstances.
Though our ship runs a different course now, I personally hold the experiences and friendships I have shared with those of the Honor Guard close to my heart. It is through the hard work and sacrifice of our members, both old and new, that we continue to hold to our ideals and move forward.

Well, I'm just speechless....and it takes alot to shut this warrior up. I feared the worst of your fate and I admit that my faith waned. It's great to get word from you Lord Finn and I look forward to sitting at the inn and trading tall tales over and ale.
Hope to see you soon, Eggshen

Though my time with this grand guild has been for many seasons, I must admit that I was not devoted to it as I am now. Though I am familiar with some of the great officers and leaders of past and present, Finn, Grumir and Pathi to name a few, the remembrance of one great brother of the guild that fore fronts my mind is Elder Lughmacgowan. My tale is not of bravery and might (of which he did posses.) It is one of welcoming and belonging, friendship and brotherhood. It was he who made me feel that I was important and felt welcome in this guild. Even if it was just a quick Hello. He would hail his brothers of the guard then add and sister. (There were not many of us sisters back then) This greeting made this once young adventurer blush and feel a sense of belonging. He also brought a fun and light heartedness to the guild. There were many a times I would have to catch my breath from laughter after one of his "night after tales". Though he was a great, inspirational and devoted leader in the guild, it is that feeling of belonging that I will always be grateful for. We may remember some of our Brothers and Sisters for great leadership, valiant efforts against the evil that raids our realm or Honorable example that we shall be better for. Let us also not forget our great sisters and brothers of the Honor Guard , that they should also be remembered for their friendship.
LONG LIVE THE HONOR GUARD. LET US ALWAYS HONOR THOSE OF THE HONOR GUARD BOTH PAST AND PRESENT.

Nope. I gave up guessing. This little brain of mine can barley power my legs let alone figure out this mystery.

Greetings old friends,
I suppose I have let you wonder long enough. I have been gone for many months, but I am to return very soon. I have been redying myself since I appeared to you as this strange traveler.
Some of you apparently don't remember me and some won't even know me but this does not sadden nor offend me, for my contributions were never grand or spectacular. Thank you all very much for the wonderful tales that you have shared and I suppose it is my turn.
In the first months after The Honor Guard was formed after the tragic collapse of The Brotherhood, there was a rather important meeting going on in Thelsamar. The Honor had recently and suddenly lost many members who meant to become officers. It was suggested that we dissolve and join a larger guild. I believe that the first one to speak out against this rash action was one of the newest members, who's near relative is a high ranking officer in just such a guild. His words would could have inspired any Horde loyalist to drop his banners and join The Honor Guard! Any small shred of thought that we should dissolve the guild vanished from the room! New Officers were stepped forward and a plan was made to save this wonder of companionship and camaraderie that we call a guild! The first ever amendments were decided to be made at this meeting, as well I became the first Seeker of Gathering.
I cannot remember many names but I do believe that Tharios and Lughmacgowan were in attendance, leading the meeting, along with myself Mundano, and two or three others including the one who inspired us all and helped make this guild the glory that it is today.
Thank you all for hearing my tale. I hope see you all soon enough, in person.

It has been a long time, Mundarious. Glad to have you back in the fold. The guild has been through many trials and tribulations in your absence but seems to be the stronger for them. It will be grand to have you back in the mix!

Thanks be to Elune! I thought we would never find out who the mysterious traveler was and I am doubley happy to find you well brother Mundarios. I was at the meeting you speak of and I clearly remembered that is was your empassioned speech that held The Honor Guard together. We owe you a debt of gratitude and we welcome you back. ((I think you will need to be re-invited into the guild because of routine membership house cleaning of the roster)). We have grown in size and ventured into deeper and more dangerous dungeons since your departure but many of us remember you and I'm sure you will remember us upon your return. I hope to see you in Azeroth soon and share in our spoils...I'm buying the ale!

I realize how some may have been confused but the one who made the first speech that I mention was not I, was not me. Though I did make some valiant points as well but I cannot remember the name of this noble man.
Also my apologies Eggshen, for forgetting your presence, but it does seem more correct in my mind now that you say it. Do you by chance remember who else was in attendance?
