I have both as well. Not sure what other members of the guild will think about installing another set-up, but I have no problem with a move to Ventrillo.

Ok, so what I am thinking, I think you are both thinking as well (say that 5x fast ); people would not be to pleased about it that have TS now. So I guess we would have 2 options if we decide as a guild leadership to do this ... 1) I take down the TS server and put in my new server I have just finished (upgrade!), and setup Vent as the new machine 2) Setup a Vent server simultaneously with the TS server, and as new people join and request, we direct them to the Vent server. During that time we would help people make a gradual change from TS to Vent. This is all hypothetically speaking - if sticking to TS would make more sense, then I am all for that. I just want to be sure we are using the best tools possible to ensure our success. ~Tado

I think we are over thinking this. Let's just tell everyone to switch once you get it set up. Post it as the guild message and post it in here too. Tell people on-line and I think we will be fine. Everyone somehow managed to download TS and since most of us have used Vent at some point it probably is even a smaller deal than we think. Execute!

If you think Vent is better we will just make the switch. Post a message stating the proper information needed on downloading installing and options to get things working and I will announce that the vent is our new voice communication.

I have been able to over hear game play over Ventrillo. I agree that it sounds better and multiple people can talk at same time. I say yes. We should just move on it quickly if we are going to change it so that we only have to help a few change now. My only question is can multiple rooms be set up as we have in teamspeak?

After running through SM tonight.. I would definatly like to chage to Ventrillo. Teamspeak was horrible. There was constant double talking(everything kept repeating)and many times it was coming through broken. It was very frustrating.
